Eliana Saenz

Eliana grew up attending 13 different schools across several countries, including Chile and New Zealand. Constantly being the "new girl" sparked a lifelong fascination with people and storytelling. Her father immigrated from Chile and is of Mapuche descent, while her mother's heritage blends Slovenian, Jewish, and Northwestern European roots. A natural athlete, Eliana has run marathons, trained with an Olympic-level boxing coach, and is an avid cyclist. She was recently featured on The Moth podcast on NPR and lives in Los Angeles.
