Jeremy John Wells is an actor, filmmaker, and Southern California native, born and raised in and around Ventura County. He began acting professionally as a teenager in the mid-1990s. Coming from a family steeped in the arts-actors, singers, and visual artists-his lineage includes his great-uncle, Academy Award-nominated actor Richard Dix.
Jeremy is the President of Vertéro Films, an independent film and television production company, where he is actively producing multiple projects with a focus on narrative features and documentaries intended to have meaningful cultural impact. In addition to his work as an actor, writer, director, and producer, he is a serial entrepreneur with experience founding and selling businesses, as well as working across commercial real estate and development, fine art and interior design, software development, and business leadership.
A photographer and fine artist, he works primarily in oil and acrylic. Jeremy has been married since 2002 to California landscape painter Jamie Wells, and together they raise their three children. He is also an avid athlete and outdoorsman-an active surfer and shaper, mountain biker, snowboarder, backpacker, and spearfisherman.
