On September 15, 2006, Pierre Lapointe received 2 Platinum records. His first 2 CDs ('Pierre Lapointe' and 'La forêt des mal-aimés') sold 100 000 copies each. He received these awards in Granby, during the 'Festival de la chanson de Granby'.
