Biography

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa was born in 1978 in Barakaldo, País Vasco, Spain. She is a writer and director, known for Querer (2024), Sundays (2025) and Lullaby (2022).

As a director, the ultimate goal is always to create the feeling that what you're seeing on set is unfolding before your eyes for the first time.

It catches our attention when youth leans toward the traditional because we assume that youth must always be on the side of rebellion.
