  • Manzoor Ahmad Tailee, a.k Manzoor Ahmed came to Mumbai in 2003 from the small town of Kashmir named Anantnag to pursue Film making, Since then he is active in this field as an assistant director and writer. He has assisted and written all most 200 episodes for the different Television channels. Then he shifted his focus towards films and started as 2nd assistant director in 2 English docu-drama films namely "Baba Amte" and "An initiative towards peace" followed by two Hindi films called Kuchh Khel Kuchh Masti and College Campus. To understand this craft minutely he wrote a Hindi feature film "Forgotten showers" based on Munshi Prem Chand's Kafan in 2005 starring Rajpal Yadav and Sadhu Mehar. "Forgotten Showers" got a couple of international awards. After that, he was 1st assistant director to Italian director Mr.Italo Sipinelly for an English feature film called "Gangor" which was an internationally acclaimed film. Apart from this, he worked as a creative head for different production houses like Vikings Media, Small Wonder films, Nirvana Motion films, and Eagle Films.

This film also received immense acclaim from the international audience. After this project, Manzoor plunged into filmmaking and he shot his debut film "What an Idea Sirji" as a writer/director, starring Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Mishra, Prashant Narayanan, and Gayathiri Iyer The film was unfortunately never released. Presently he is directing a film named "Hukus Bukus" for Chitrath motions films.
