Rodolfo Konder (b. April 5, 1938, Natal) is a Brazilian journalist, writer, translator, university teacher and lecturer. Second child of Communist intellectual Valerio Konder and Ione Coelho. Has a older brother the philosopher Leandro Konder and a youngest sister Luiza Eugenia Konder (married with the banker Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga).

Was leader Syndical, from 1961 to 1964. Founded Union of the Workers in the Petrochemical Industry, Caxias, 1963. Was dismissed of Petrobras and annulled after the blow 1964, exiling himself in Mexico and, later in Uruguay. Came back to Brazil, in 1975 was imprisoned in the DOI-CODI, while worked for the Visao magazine. He exiled himself again, in Canada and the United States, where lived in a apartment(at New York) of his sister Luiza Konder de Almeida Braga & his brother-in-law Antonio Carlos de Almeida Braga. Came back of second exile, in the late of 1978, was one of founders of Annistia International in Brazil. Was journalism teacher, lasted five years, at FAAP. He participated of a lot Congresses, in Brazil and in the exterior, fulfilled a lot diplomatical missions around of the world. Was director of FIAM, during one year. He made lectures and conferences in Brazil and the exterior, on subjects always related to the journalism, the liberty of speech and the fight for the democracy. Now is Cultural Director of the UniFMU, diretor of the MASP and advisor of the UBE. Whited more of 15 books.
