Celia "Meera" Myrick is an American Film-maker based in Los Angeles, California and was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She recently co-produced the internationally-acclaimed environmental documentary entitled "Dear Mr. President," formerly entitled "God vs. Trump," directed by Martin Piers Dunkerton. She is in pre-production for a human rights documentary entitled "Ubuntu: America's Redemption Song" as the film director and producer under her film company Dancing Moon Films.
Early in her career, she interned in the Development, Production, and Post-Production departments for Rainforest Films (now dissolved), Turner Broadcasting Systems, The Black Family Channel, StarMaxx Media, and Georgia Public Broadcasting respectively.
She made her directorial debut in 2005 with the premiere of a student short film entitled "One Night Stand." The narrative film follows a teenage girl who engages in a promiscuous and risky lifestyle which leads to her contracting the HIV virus. The film received recognition from the local Atlanta news channel, NBC News, and the Centers for Disease Control.
