Biography

  • Justice Nnanna is a Nigerian-American filmmaker, artist, and geographer. Later, 'Earthseed' screened at a large-scale public art exhibition Onassis Cultural Centre in Athens, Greece, and in 2026 at the Contemporary Arts Festival in Grand Popo, Benin. His short documentary on Ugandan women’s work collectives screened at the UN Women’s Conference, UNESCO in South Korea, and won a Social Impact Media Award in 2019. His film 'Maria el Diablo' received a Brooklyn Film Festival nomination for Best Short Documentary and is available for streaming on MUBI.
