Biography

Patrick Aiello is a seasoned film producer and senior production executive with extensive experience in creative affairs, packaging, financing, business affairs, production and the distribution and marketing of U.S. distributor focused, internationally valued productions.

Aiello began his career with a lengthy tenure at Spelling Television overseeing physical production departments. Aiello then transitioned to Hyde Park Entertainment Group, an established mini-major financing and production company, where Aiello generated and oversaw company's commercial theatrical slate and serviced co-financing, co-production distribution relationships at Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Studios and MGM.

During term, at Sony Pictures Aiello supervised company's highly successful supernatural thriller PREMONITION and GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE, and produced THE DARK COUNTRY for Screen Gems. At 20th Century Fox Aiello launched company's tent- pole development with NEW YEAR'S STEVE and the reboot of THE CANNONBALL RUN franchise. Aiello also supervised DEATH SENTENCE directed by James Wan and produced Capcom's videogame-to-feature STREET FIGHTER: THE LEGEND OF CHUN LI. At Walt Disney Studios Aiello packaged the family tent-pole WITCHES with J.H. Wyman writing and Angela Robinson directing. At MGM Aiello initiated remakes of Brian De Palma's iconic DRESSED TO KILL, Rodney Dangerfield's EASY MONEY, executive produced ASYLUM and supervised THE OTHER END OF THE LINE. Independent of studio deals, Aiello initiat- ed and produced the U.S./Japanese co-production LEONIE, executive produced Platinum Studios' graphic novel series DEAD OF NIGHT and produced THE DOUBLE.

Post term, Aiello packaged, independently financed and produced RISEN. Sony Pictures released "Risen" worldwide and the biblically inspired drama was ranked within the top ten of the most successful faith-based films of all time. Aiello also produced Legendary Entertainment and Universal Pictures' AS ABOVE SO BELOW and Warner Brothers' BURN YOUR MAPS.

Aiello, a WGA screenwriter, created the musical comedy THE THREE TENORS and will pro- duce. At Sony, Aiello originated HELLCATRAZ and will produce with Timur Bekmambatov. At 20th Century Fox Aiello co-created and is producing the large-scale, hybrid tent-pole BUMPER TO BUMPER: THE SECRET LIVES OF CARS and created a secret TALKING ANIMALS project with Ben Stiller, as well as initiating and producing a feature film version of the television series THE WHITE SHADOW. At Walt Disney Studios Aiello created and will produce the hybrid tent-pole U.S. NAVY DOLPHINS.
