Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Skope graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. His production company, pawn & a king productions, opened in 2004. Skope is currently (2014) contracted on an overall Show Runner and first-look development deal with the National Geographic Channel.
