Biography

George Zwierzynski Jr. is the VP, Onion Inc. Director, responsible for directing major branded campaigns for The Onion and episodic series for the long form content division Onion Studios. Previously he was the VP, Head of Production for Onion, Inc., responsible for the strategy and execution of all editorial, branded and episodic video production. He is the Executive Producer and Director of Judah Vs. The Machines, a new series for AOL/TechCrunch starring comedian Judah Friedlander.

Zwierzynski sharpened his directing skills in the inaugural years of Dan Harmon's and Rob Schrab's Channel 101, a monthly short film festival in Los Angeles. Zwierzynski has an extensive production background having worked with networks such as The History Channel, CNBC, Discovery Network and ESPN. Prior to, he directed commercials and cut trailers for the major film studios. His commercial production company Purple Stuff Productions has garnered awards for its advertising work and throughout the independent film circuit.
