Eliot Spitzer was born on June 10, 1959 in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. He was previously married to Silda Alice Wall.

Attorney General of the State of New York (January 1, 1999 - December 31, 2006).

Elected governor over Republican John Faso on November 7, 2006.

Former Governor of the State of New York (1 January 2007 - 12 March 2008). He resigned due to his involvement in a prostitution ring scandal, where he was a client of call girl Ashley Dupré.

Longtime friend of Lawrence Golub, husband of Karen Finerman.

David Paterson succeeded him as Governor of New York after he resignation.

I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public, whom I promised better.
