Biography

Omair Rana is a Pakistani actor whose work spans film, television and theatre. His career is rooted in theatre, and he has worked extensively in both English-language, Urdu and Punjabi productions.

Rana has portrayed a range of dramatic and character-driven roles across stage and screen. His theatre background has also led to extensive work in actor training, performance and communication.

He plays Inspector Jamshed in the English-language feature film IJ: The Secret Parchment, shot in the United Arab Emirates. The film is based on the Inspector Jamshed character created by Pakistani author Ishtiaq Ahmed.

Alongside acting, Rana is a theatre practitioner, acting coach and trainer, with extensive experience in performance and actor development.
