- There was no actual group called "The Archies", because the "group" was created as characters on a TV cartoon show. Some of the artists who provided the voices, both on records and on the show, were Ron Dante, Ellie Greenwich, Toni Wine, Ritchie Adams, Andy Kim and Jeff Barry (who also wrote and produced many of their songs).
