Hermen Hulst is a Dutch video game producer and executive who serves as the CEO of the Studio Business Group at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Since early 2025, he has led the division responsible for all PlayStation first-party game development (PlayStation Studios) and the expansion of these franchises into film and television.
Hulst's career is deeply rooted in development; he was a co-founder and long-time Managing Director of Guerrilla Games, the studio behind the Killzone series and the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn. In 2011, he was appointed Vice President of what was then known as Sony Worldwide Studios before succeeding Shuhei Yoshida as the head of the division in 2019. Under his leadership, PlayStation Studios expanded through major acquisitions like Bungie and Bluepoint Games.
