- Vegard Ylvisåker is a Norwegian comedian, singer, songwriter and musician (piano, guitar) born in Trondheim, 19 May 1979. He is the father of three children alongside his wife Helene Helgesen (married 2011). Together with his brother, Bård Ylvisåker, they form the comedy duo Ylvis, active since 2000. Their comedy style is strongly infused with music. The Ylvis brothers have been the creators and performers of several revue shows, TV shows, radio shows, documentaries, parody music videos and live concerts. Most known for Stories from Norway (2018), I kveld med YLVIS (2011) and Nordens herligste (2010).
