- Melanie's first theatrical appearance was in a stage adaptation of the book "Free to Be You and Me" at the age of eight. The next year she wrote, directed, and produced her own play. She's never looked back. She has appeared in over 20 stage shows, including two separate productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream. After taking a break from the theatre to pursue an information systems management degree, she decided to switch from stage to film acting. She landed two lead roles in her first two auditions and wound up shooting both of her first two feature-length films concurrently, Sex & Guilt and Night. Night holds a special place in her heart as she's always been attracted to the lightless world of vampires.
