- In 1993, Sunil Agnihotri was directing a film titled "Daava" Starring Naseeruddin Shah,Ronit Roy, Tisca Chopra, Tinnu Anand. The film was also shot in Canada. Produced by Canadian actor,producer Nasser Shabbo. He had previously acted in Gehri Chot in 1983. Daava was eventually shelved. Years later Sunil started another film with the same title but different star cast and producer.
