Biography

James Morrison was born on November 11, 1962 in Boorowa, New South Wales, Australia. He is an actor and writer, known for Abominable (2006), Hey Dad..! (1987) and Beyond El Rocco (1990).

Career highlights include a performance with Dizzy Gillespie at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 1987, a world tour with Ray Charles and B.B. King in 1990 and performances at Parliament House, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory for US Presidents George Bush in 1992 and Bill Clinton in 1996.

Has played several instruments including the euphonium, saxophone, piano, trombone, flugelhorn and tuba, but is best known for playing the trumpet.
