Derek H. Potts

Derek Potts is the founder and Managing Partner of Deepwater Productions, LLP, a Texas based movie and television production company. He is a producer, actor, attorney, podcast host, and agent who frequently represents public figures in negotiations and litigation. Deepwater has produced several feature films over the past decade including Narco Sub a/k/a The Shipment, an action movie about the Columbian drug cartel utilizing homemade submarines to smuggle narcotics and Burleson, a short western film shot entirely in Texas at Mr. Potts' West Texas Ranch, The Four Aces which was directed by Mr. Potts' son, Drake Potts. Mr. Potts has acted in several films including The Last Astronaut and Narco Sub in a recurring role as Richard Bishop, Director of the CIA. He is the founder and moderator of the Potts Power Podcast which interviews public figures and entrepreneurs concerning their journeys to success and achievement. He is an avid movie fan, ever since his father took him at the age of 6 to see the original release of Star Wars.
