April Lamb is an independent producer who worked alongside celebrated artist and film director Steve McQueen. She joined him on both the Camera d'Or-winning SHAME and 12 YEARS A SLAVE which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. She was a co-producer on McQueen's limited series for HBO, CODES OF CONDUCT. April works with writer/director Sebastian Silva (TYREL, CRYSTAL FAIRY, THE MAID) and produces scripted podcasts (HOMECOMING, season 2, with Catherine Keener and David Schwimmer) with Gimlet Media and others. She produced the feature HUNTER GATHERER (dir. Josh Locy) with Sara Murphy for Rough House Pictures. The film was nominated for the John Cassavetes Award at the 2016 Film Independent Spirit Awards, which is given to the best film made for under $500,000. April is also a creative project consultant and life coach.
