Born and bought up in Mumbai . He completed his film studies from FTII pune . Having an inclination towards location sound and sound design his first professional work was the national award winning film ' The Blue Umbrella ' . He has worked on several award winning national and international movies ,documentaries etc including the multiple Oscar winning 'Slum Dog Millionaire' .
