Sergio Ramos García is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Spain national team. Known for his aggressive play, ball retrieval ability and prolific goal-scoring abilities, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time, having formerly played for Real Madrid for sixteen seasons, winning four UEFA Champions League titles with the Spanish giants along with two UEFA European Championship titles and the 2010 FIFA World Cup with the national team.

Won the European Cup (2008, 2012) and the World Cup (2010) as a member of the Spanish Team.
Defender for Sevilla F.C. (Sevilla, 2003-05), Real Madrid (Madrid, 2005-2021) and Paris Saint-Germain (France, 2021-).
One of his closest friends was Sevilla player Antonio Puerta. They got to know each other back in the days when Sergio also played for Sevilla. Antonio passed away in August 2007 after suffering several cardiac arrests, one in the middle of a game, one after in the change room and ended up in a coma in which he suffered 6 more and then his body gave up. Antonio's wife who was eight months pregnant with their son Aitor was standing on the platform when this happened. After Spain won Euro 2008 Sergio was seen with a white t-shirt with a picture of Antonio and the text " Siempre con nosotros" (Forever with us) under it.
International with Spain National Football Team since 2005. Member of the Euro 2008, 2012, 2016, and the Germany '06, South Africa '10, Brazil '14 and Russia '18 squads.
Won five La Liga (2007, 2008, 2012, 2017, 2020), four Spanish Supercup (2008, 2012, 2017, 2020), two Copa del Rey (2011, 2014), four UEFA Champions League (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018), four FIFA Club World Cup (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018) and three UEFA Super Cup (2014, 2016, 2017) with Real Madrid.
