Biography

Lane Smith Jr. was born on January 24, 1987 in Hollywood, California, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Paint, In Lieu of Flowers: The Final Days of Michael Hastings (2014) and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016).

Son of character actor Lane Smith and Sydnee Balaber.

From age six to eleven, everyday after school, he spent his time on the TV set of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993). There, he watched his Dad's passion for acting and discovered his passion to be involved with any aspect of a production.

Attended New York University at Tisch Drama, Lee Strasberg Institute.

His first Best Actor Nomination was at Method Fest 2007 for his role of "Alex" in Indecent (2007).
