Biography

Shaun Greenspan is a filmmaker and producer with over two decades of experience in film and television. He began his career working on major network series including E.R., The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Nip/Tuck, Mad Men, and Big Love, as well as feature films such as Little Miss Sunshine and Where the Wild Things Are.

He produced the award-winning short film The Job and the music video Candy for Snoop Dogg. His feature producing credits include Skin (A24), directed by Academy Award-winner Guy Nattiv and starring Jamie Bell and Vera Farmiga; Driveways, starring Brian Dennehy and Hong Chau (Berlinale, TIFF, Tribeca); What We Hide (Shout! Studios / Gravitas) starring McKenna Grace, Dacre Montgomery, and Jesse Williams; and Amber Alert (Lionsgate) starring Hayden Panettiere and Tyler James Williams.

In April 2018, Greenspan collaborated with producer Fred Berner (Maestro, Pollock) and writer-producer Alan Zweibel (Saturday Night Live, It’s Garry Shandling’s Show) on the short film Still Happy.

Based in Florida, Greenspan produces much of his documentary work for WEDU PBS, including The Sarasota Experience and the Emmy-winning series Greater Lakeland. He has also interviewed Holocaust survivors for archival preservation and taught documentary filmmaking to military veterans.

Greenspan currently serves as a producer and creative executive at Hungry Bull Productions.
