The Wuerffel Trophy, named after Wuerffel, has been given annually since 2005 by the All Sports Association (Fort Walton Beach, FL) to the college football player "who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement". Past winners include Matt Barkley, Paul Smith, Barrett Jones, and Tim Tebow.
