Biography

Laura Malin is an LA-based Executive Producer, Film & TV Strategist, and author with 35 years of international experience across film and television distribution, project development, and global market strategy.

A Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmy® Awards), Malin made her industry debut at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival. Over a career spanning three decades, she has led story architecture, packaging, and market positioning across more than 60 produced feature films and documentaries, 200+ episodic TV hours, and 25+ published books adapted for the screen. Her track record includes work with major studios and global streaming platforms, including Disney, Netflix, Paramount+, Warner Bros. Discovery (Max), and Prime Video.

Through Malin Entertainment, she focuses on executive producing, international co-productions, high-value IP acquisition (book-to-screen adaptations), and driving film festival lobbying and awards campaigns across North America, Latin America, and Europe. Malin is also the published author of eleven books.
