- Kandi's singing range is very versatile, she is able to sing in a very low contralto and is also being able to reach high pitches, she is even capable of the whistle register (the very high, ear-piercing note Mariah Carey is well-known to use regularly), notable songs in which Kandi showcases this height include hits " My Little Secret" and "Understanding".
- Has three children: daughter Riley Burruss (b. August 22, 2002) with her ex-boyfriend Russell Spencer; son Ace Wells Tucker (b. January 6, 2016) and daughter Blaze Tucker (b. November 22, 2019) with her husband Todd Tucker.
