Todd Johnson is lead singer, guitarist and primary songwriter for the acclaimed indie rock band Trucker, out of Lawrence, Kansas (www.truckerrocks.com). Trucker's most recent CD is Post Rock Motel (2007). Other releases include the EP Feeling Better Today (2006), the single The Neighbor Song (2005), the CD Nothing To See Here (2003) and the EP Go Out (2000).

Trucker was formed in 1995 by Todd Johnson of Olathe, Kansas and Thomas Barletta of Canton, Connecticut. The band made its national television debut in 2000 on USA Network's Farmclub, hosted by former MTV VJ Matt Pinfield. Trucker has been awarded a B.E.A.M. Grant from Jim Beam as an "up and coming Midwest Artist to watch," interviewed by Pat Dinizio of the Smithereens, named one of the Top 50 unsigned bands in America by the College Media Journal (CMJ) and the American Music Awards (AMA) two years in a row, and selected by CMJ as a Regional Semi-Finalist for the Nokia T-Mobile Opportunity Rocks Search for the Next Great Band Competition. In 2003, Trucker Todd was one of only three people in the nation selected by Rolling Stone to participate in the David Fishof Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.
