Biography

Marcel Theroux was born on June 13, 1968 in Kampala, Uganda. He is a writer and producer, known for Churchill: The Hollywood Years (2004), Heist: Robbing the Bank of England (2025) and The End of the World as We Know It (2005). He is married to Hannah Griffiths. They have two children.

Novelist and son of fellow writer Paul Theroux. He is also older brother of Louis Theroux and cousin of Justin Theroux.

Is of French Canadian descent from his paternal grandfather.
