Nicole Signore was born in Upstate New York. She began performing at an early age, dancing in recitals, modeling in print advertisements, and appearing in television commercials. At five years old, she performed before her first live audience in Disney on Ice's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, appearing as one of the magical forest children.
She began formal acting training as a child and later graduated from the John Sayles School of Fine Arts High School.
Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Communications from SUNY Empire State College in Saratoga, New York, and an Associate Degree in Music and Theater from SUNY Schenectady County Community College in Schenectady, New York.
She launched her professional stage career in regional and New York City theaters, including Steamer No. 10 Children's Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Proctors Theatre, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and The Medicine Show Theatre, as well as several Off-Broadway and Broadway houses, where she earned her Actors' Equity Association card.
Transitioning from stage to screen, Nicole appeared in numerous television and film productions. Her on-screen credits include Page in Kill Your Darlings (Sony Pictures Classics, 2013), directed by John Krokidas and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jack Huston, Ben Foster, and Dane DeHaan; Revolutionary War heroine Jemima Warner in Benedict Arnold: Hero Betrayed (2021), narrated by Martin Sheen and directed by Chris Stearns; Female Newscaster in Detour (2010), directed by Patty Richardson.
Additional film appearances include Furlough (2018), opposite Melissa Leo and directed by Laurie Collyer; After Party (2017), with Steven Guttenberg and Sean Kleier, directed by Amos Posner; Then Came You (2018), starring Maisie Williams and directed by Peter Hutchings; and the feature films Salt (2009), Ted K (2020), I Know This Much Is True (2019), and Crypto (movie), in which her vintage Ford Mustang collection has appeared.
Her international work includes appearances in the German television series Katie Fforde (2014), directed by Helmut Metzger, where she portrayed a paralegal opposite Ursula Karven. She has also appeared in numerous web series and short films, including season two of The Wig People (2014), directed by Todd Birmingham, and as Casandra in the science-fiction series Purgatory (2014), directed by T. George McArdle.
Nicole is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and has received multiple acting awards, including Best Scream Queen at the Shocker Horror Film Festival in Hollywood, presented by actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Best Horror Film Vixen at the Atlanta Film Festival for her performance as vampire slayer Maria Hunter in the cult horror film Blood Lust (2004), directed by Michael Kazlo.
In addition to acting, Nicole has worked extensively behind the camera across multiple departments. Her talent for impersonation led to work as a picture and stunt double for several actresses, including Mena Suvari (What Lies Below), Chloë Sevigny (The Dead Don't Die), Elizabeth Olsen (Peace, Love & Misunderstanding), Juno Temple (One Percent More Humid, The Pretenders), and Rhea Seehorn on Things Seen and Heard. She has also written and produced numerous 24-, 48-, and 72-hour film competition projects, as well as a national television commercial for General Motors.
An accomplished martial artist, Nicole's extensive training in weapons, self-defense, fitness, and mixed martial arts made her a candidate for the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, Australia. She also served as Fight Choreography Director for an episode of NBC's The Mysteries of Laura (2014).
Nicole lives bi-coastal between Upstate New York, where her family roots remain, and Los Angeles, California, allowing her to stay closely connected to both her family and the entertainment industry.
In recent years, she has expanded her career as a creator, producer, writer, editor, novelist, and musician, founding Nicole Signore Studios, a multidisciplinary production company specializing in film, animation, music, and emerging technologies.
She is the creator, writer, producer, and editor of The Little Bee Girl, an animated educational children's series inspired by a dance recital costume she wore at the age of two. The series follows a young bee who teaches foundations learning concepts through music, rhythm, and imaginative storytelling.
In addition to her screen work, Nicole Signore is a self-published novelist and a musician, singer, songwriter, and composer. Her music blends traditional instrumentation with digital audio workstations and emerging technologies, creating emotionally driven soundscapes. Her recent releases include Ghost In The Frame and Nikki Picky
