Biography

Teo Gheorghiu was born on August 12, 1992 in Maennedorf, Switzerland. He is an actor, known for Vitus (2006), Aeschbacher (2001) and Eigo de shabera-night (2001).

In 2004 he won first prize in the San Marino International Piano Competition and the same honour in the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Weimar, Germany, in 2005.

In August 2007, he made his Japan debut with the Tokyo New City Orchestra.

He has been a pupil at London's Purcell School, Britain's oldest specialist school for gifted young musicians, since 2001.
