Biography

David Adam Ettedgui (pronounced E-ted-[g]ee) is a Los Angeles-born writer, director, and producer whose work spans film, television, and music. Before transitioning fully into filmmaking, he received recognition in music and writing, including National DownBeat Music Awards, honors from the International Association for Jazz Education, semifinalist recognition from the Grammy Foundation, quarterfinalist placement in the Fade In Screenwriting Competition, and an Outstanding Artist Scholarship from the Ministry of Haifa in Israel.

Ettedgui later expanded his creative focus to filmmaking, building experience across development, production, and post-production. He studied French at La Sorbonne, Hebrew at Haifa University, and served in the Israeli army before returning to the United States to pursue film professionally. He earned a BA in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge, and completed his MFA in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California.
