Albert Val(I)

Freelance scriptwriter and script consultant based in Barcelona, Spain. Writer of the feature film "The teacher who promised the sea" (2023), for which he was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at Goya awards and Gaudí awards. He was the Director of Content for Filmax, an independent, Spanish audiovisual company. He has also been a screenwriter for family films ("Snowflake, The White Gorilla", 2011), documentaries ("Everybody's problem, 2008), and docudramas ("Els plans de Cerdà", 2020). His last works as a screenwriter have been the fiction TV-series "Genesis" (2026), about the chef Ferran Adrià, and the feature film "Parenostre" (2025).
