Biography

Mike Browne (Michael Browne) is lover of all things film (especially horror and zombies). Mike is a former grave digger / security guard / graphic artist turned enthusiastic filmmaker. Mike got his start as an actor at the Vancouver Film School where he performed in a number of student productions. He started out working on a variety of low-to-no-budget independent productions in Vancouver, British Columbia in a variety of positions and is moving toward the production of his own feature films and television programs.

Mike can be heard every week on his podcast Dark Poutine - True Crime and Dark History. In 2018 the podcast partnered with Corus Entertainment in an ad revenue sharing deal. Mike has also appeared on various radio and television news programs speaking about crime in Canada. One of his stories was recently published in a true crime compendium and he is writing a true crime compendium of his own for a major publisher with a projected publication date of the last quarter of 2020. As well, Mike can be heard on KCAA radio's The House of Mystery radio show as a regular co-host.
