Biography

  • Graduated as an architect, he discovered his true vocation in 2004, when he began his acting studies in his hometown Monterrey, Mexico, at The Film Workshops Monterrey. Within two months, he landed his first role in the feature film "Así", which was selected for the 62nd Venice International Film Festival. In 2007, he appeared in the short film "Lies", shot in Berlin, which was selected for the 11th Poland International Film Festival. In 2009, he made his debut as a writer, director, and producer with the short film "Dos Años Después", selected for the 6th Monterrey International Film Festival. After stepping away from acting for several years, he returned to pursue it professionally, earning a scholarship for the advanced acting program at Vancouver Film School in 2014. Before graduating, he secured a role in the feature film "L.A. Beat" (2015). That same year, he appeared in various commercials and short films, including "2 Pesos", which was selected for the 68th Cannes International Film Festival. While based in Vancouver, he traveled to Mexico City for a callback and was cast in a supporting role in the feature film "Macho". In 2016, he relocated to Mexico City, where he made his theater debut in "En El Último Piso" and has since built a solid career across television, appearing in series such as "Narcos", "El Chema", "Señora Acero", "La Piloto", "Rosario Tijeras", and "Enemigo Íntimo", among others. He is currently developing "Mi Amigo De Siempre", a project based on his own experiences, in which he serves as co-writer, director, producer, and lead actor.
