Penny grew up in Chicago in a first-generation American family where discipline, collaboration, and intention were emphasized early on. After initially pursuing more practical paths, an improv class quietly redirected her toward acting, where curiosity, persistence, and a lifelong interest in people took hold.

Penny has appeared in a range of short and independent films, as well as commercials and public service announcements. Drawn to filmmaker-driven projects and character-focused storytelling, she is particularly interested in portraying flawed, complex people in roles where sincerity, resolve, and the occasional unintended humor can coexist.
