Betty Humby-Beecham was born on 8 April 1908 in Hendon, Middlesex, England, UK. She is known for While I Live (1947) and Person to Person (1953). She was married to Thomas Beecham and H. Cashel Thomas. She died on 2 September 1958 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Pianist. At the age of 10, she was the youngest person ever to win a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music.

Met future husband Sir Thomas Beecham when she was 12, and played at several of his concerts.

At age 16, she was hired by <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm1425029/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Myra Hess</a> as a piano professor at Tobias Matthay&#39;s music school.
