Geoff Klein broke into the industry with his directorial debut, the indie feature Bikini Girls on Ice (2010), followed by its successful sequel Pinup Dolls on Ice (2013). These films, nostalgic homages to 1980s slasher classics with bold, stylized visuals, earned acclaim at international genre film festivals and established Klein as a rising talent in the horror community.

Klein soon transitioned into editing, launching his professional career with CBC's Interrupt This Program. His clear grasp of storytelling and pacing-fusing artistic vision with technical precision-quickly set him apart. His work on the series, which explored themes of cultural resilience and urban transformation, earned him his first Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2017.

Since then, Klein has become one of the most sought-after editors in the industry. His credits span dark, character-driven dramas, fiction, animal documentaries, and socially resonant narratives. In 2025, he received his second CSA nomination for Best Editing in a Feature Length Documentary for the film I Shall Not Hate, a deeply human story that further cements his reputation for emotionally resonant storytelling.

That same year, Klein also edited the feature remake of the cult horror classic Silent Night, Deadly Night. His work on the film demonstrates his ability to craft tension and atmosphere with precision, merging his horror roots with his editorial expertise to deliver a chilling, high-impact viewing experience.
