With an illustrious career spanning 30 years and over 575 films, Nikil Murukan stands as a towering figure in the South Indian entertainment industry. Known for his unmatched commitment, dynamic communication skills, and a relentless passion for cinema, Nikil has redefined the role of a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Indian cinema.

The Journey Nikil began his career in 1988 as an assistant to PR stalwart Cine News Selvam. His breakthrough came in 1997 when he debuted as an independent PRO with the Tamil film Ullaasam (produced by ABCL). Since then, his journey has been marked by a series of milestone projects including Mudhalvan, Baba, Pithamagan, Paruthiveeran, Dasavatharam, Enthiran, GOAT, Dragon and many more.

Nikil's association with legends like K. Balachander, Mani Ratnam, Shankar, Bala, Kamal Haasan, and Rajinikanth highlights the trust and respect he commands in the industry. Early Life & Education Born on March 23, 1967, in Chennai, Nikil Murukan hails from a family deeply rooted in public service and journalism. He is the great-grandson of Sri T. S. Chockalingam, the first editor of Tamil daily Dinamani. Despite early financial hardships-working as a newspaper delivery boy and shop assistant during school days-Nikil pursued education diligently, later earning a Diploma in Journalism from Mysore University.
