He played seven seasons in the NFL, starting in 1998 with the Buccaneers before joining the Bears for 2002 and 2003. He played nine games for the Patriots before being released in 2004.

On June 5, 2006, He was arrested on charges that he had a gun and marijuana in his car. He failed a field sobriety test, and a subsequent search of his car revealed a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol, brass knuckles and small amount of marijuana. His NFL career is most likely over.

In 2004, While playing for The Chicago Bears, He was charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident in Northbrook, Ill. He pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenced to a year's probation and ordered to get alcohol and substance abuse counseling.
