Biography

Dan played in the 1998 McDonald's Lehigh Valley all-star classic.

He appears in a Visa commercial with Tom Brady and his fellow offensive line mates Brandon Gorin, Tom Ashworth, Russ Hochstein, and Matt Light. He also appears in an NFL Network commercial with Richard Seymour and Willie McGinest.

His 2005-2006 season was derailed by a devastating injury suffered in a game against the Miami Dolphins, but early in the season, he showed flashes of brilliance that leave Patriots fans looking forward to the 06-07 year where he will regain his starting role.

After the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVIII that year, Damien Woody was allowed to sign with the Detroit Lions, leaving Dan as the permanent starter. He once again helped them win a Super Bowl the following year.

The Patriots selected him in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft with the 164th overall choice.
