Biography

Mariana Richard is a filmmaker and works as a director. Her career was built mostly on projects at TV Globo, for 37 years on 16 projects as an assistant director and 9 as a director, including Hidden Truths (2015), winner of the International Emmy for best soap opera, O Outro Lado do Paraíso (2014), winner of the Nelson Rodrigues Award for best theme and the Troféu Imprensa for best soap opera, and the ratings success Young Hearts (1995).
