Degree in Art History from the University of Barcelona. 1986
He works in the audiovisual sector since 1987, in fields like: Executive Production, Direction, Writing, Project Development and Management, Education, Programming and Exhibition.
He has been Executive Producer of 18 TV documentaries, some of them in international co-production, from his former Production company Àrea de Televisió (1992-2012). Highlights include: "Francisco Boix: A Photographer in Hell" (2000), Finalist at the International Emmy Awards; "Orwell: Against the Tide" (2003), co-produced with eight international televisions; and "Hermanito" (2006), co-produced with Arte.
He has directed the documentaries: "A War in Hollywod" (2008), Best Documentary at the New York International Independent Film Festival, 2nd Prize at Tiempo de Historia, Seminci (Festival of Valladolid), and Best Documentary at Som Cinema (Lleida, Catalonia); "L'església rebel" (2011) and "Voluntaris" (2012), for Televisió de Catalunya; and "Podemos: Quan l'Espagne s'indigne" (2016), for the French channel Public Sénat - La Chaine Parlementaire.
Since 2013, he programs the Children's Rights Film Season, an initiative of the Barcelona City Council for the public schools of the town.
In 2020, he created IMPACTE! Festival de Cinema i Drets Humans de Catalunya, which he has directed and programmed since then (impactefilmfest.cat).
For more than 25 years, he has been teaching courses on different aspects of documentary production at Catalan universities and film schools.
