Biography

Vicki Robin is an American writer and advocate of the simplified life. She grew up in Manhasset, New York where she attended Manhasset High School. She graduated cum laude from Pembroke College in Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 1967.

The author of "Your Money or Your Life," she has lectured widely and appeared on hundreds of radio and television shows, including "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Good Morning America" and National Public Radio's "Weekend Edition" and "Morning Edition." Her work has been featured in "The Wall Street Journal," "Woman's Day," "Newsweek," "Utne Magazine," "The New York Times."

She stars in the documentary film about the Dalai Lama, entitled "Dalai Lama Renaissance."
