Robert Beckler was born on April 11, 1937 in Wooster, Ohio, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for Dear Jimmy (2005), The Interview (2023) and Gander's Redemption (2016). He died on August 21, 2023 in Wooster, Ohio, USA.

An award-winning Ballroom Dancer, he has competed nationally and has taught ballroom.

One of his biggest hobbies is bird-watching and he has traveled all over the world to pursue his passion.

He has traveled extensively throughout six of the seven continents -- North America, South America, Africa, Australia, Europe and Asia. He has never traveled to Antarctica.
