Biography

Maria was born in Zweibrucken Germany. She moved to the States when she was five years old. She attended Overton High School of Performing Arts in Memphis, TN, She graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.A. in Film and a minor in Theatre and English. She studies at the Stella Adler School of Acting.

Her father is half Nigerian-American and indigenous with a Bangladesh grandmother and her mother was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland.

She has a little brother with autism.

She has one child.
