Biography

Brian Drolet is originally from Queens, NY. He graduated from The University Of Florida's fine arts school with a degree in Electronic Intermedia. After graduating he moved back to NY, he started as an actor but began to write and produce his own films as well. Brian loves all mediums of creative expression including painting and has even does his fair share of stand up comedy.

While in LA in addition to multiple film and television roles Brian also served as Head Writer for truTV's sketch comedy/variety show, "Six Degrees Of Everything" produced by Marc Summers Productions. He also starred in "Cinedopes", a scripted digital series he created, produced, and co-wrote for Youtube with comedian Ben Gleib (Host of GSN's Idiotest) about the first movie theater to offer weed at it's concession stands. Before that his film "Dumbbells", a comedy he co-wrote, produced, and starred in as Chris Long, a fallen basketball star, was released theatrically in fifteen cities and VOD simultaneously. On that movie he got to work with comedy legend Carl Reiner, as well as Tom Arnold, Jay Mohr, Mircea Monroe, the one and only Fabio, and Jaleel White.

He produced his first indie at age twenty-six, "2 Dudes And A Dream," where he worked with Jay Mewes, Andy Milonakis and Simon Rex and it was distributed digitally by Warner Bros and represents his foray into producing and writing. Brian also starred onstage in the award winning play "Women Are Crazy Because Men Are Assholes" as well as a series of one-act plays called "Hollywood Shorts." He has also acted in several television and film roles including Disney's "Pair Of Kings" as well as various hidden camera prank shows specializing in improv on "MTV's Damage Control" to "MTV's Disaster Date" where his characters ranged from a sleazy male stripper to a hearing impaired wanna-be rapper. Brian also worked with Jonah Hill and Anthony Anderson on the Oxygen Network show "Campus Ladies" as well as Matt LeBlanc, Chevy Chase, and Ali Larter in the comedy feature "Lovesick" which opened up the 2014 Newport Beach Film Festival.

Also on his resume are a dozen plus indie features where he worked with stars ranging from Danny Trejo to Busy Philips, as well as the comedy pilots "Damaged Goods" and "Naked But Funny," a sketch comedy pilot from New Wave Entertainment for FOX where he got to play his childhood idol Jim Carrey. Brian also was a cast member of season one of MTV's smash hit "The Hills," performing stand up comedy at the world famous Laugh Factory in LA. Brian has also appeared in ads and commercials for Nike, White Castle, Sunkist Soda, Miller-Lite, Budweiser, Pepto-Bismol, the NCAA, Pepsi, Perry Ellis, Calvin Klein, and many more.
