Biography

I'm Merrell Hollis, a quiet storm in the world of beauty and make-up. As a make-up artist and grooming expert, I have had the privilege of working with mediums, models, innovators, celebrities, and legends, shaping their images and influencing our perception of beauty.

Originally from Georgia, I fell in love with fashion and make-up at a young age. I started my journey by forcing my way onto a shoot with my favorite R&B group, 112, at the age of 17. From there, I was mentored by the talented Maurice Beaman before pursuing a degree in Fashion Marketing and Design, as well as becoming a licensed barber and esthetician.

Today, I have established myself as a reputable force in the beauty industry. My eye for detail has redefined fashion's concept of editorials, commercials, and beauty presentations. I have had the privilege of working with incredible Tv personalities like Wendy Williams,, ZIWE, Ego Nwodim and phenomenal Artist such as Mary J Blige, Travis Scott, Usher, and many more.

My expertise has been shared on media platforms like the CBS Early Show and NBC, while my work has been featured in top magazines such as Vogue, ELLE, InStyle, Essence, and GQ. I have also collaborated with renowned beauty brands like CoverGil, MAC, and L'Oreal Paris.I I was also Artistic Director for BlackOpal.

I believe that good skin is the foundation for great make-up, which is why I co-created a clean skin care line called Luvanya. I am constantly consulting for various top beauty brands, and you can catch me on television, in magazines, and behind the scenes of your favorite beauty campaigns.
