Dirk Collins(I)

Dirk Collins is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, photographer, and expedition leader. As co-founder of Teton Gravity Research, he helped revolutionize adventure filmmaking, producing and directing 25 award-winning action sport films. In 2009, Collins founded OneEyedBird Marketing & Entertainment, spending 15 years producing content for clients including Disney, National Geographic, Rolex, Apple, HBO, Red Bull, and the U.S. Department of Defense. A specialist in aircraft logistics and high-altitude aerial operations, Collins has led expeditions across seven continents and 35+ countries. On the 2019 National Geographic/Rolex Perpetual Planet expedition, he led the science team that installed the world's highest weather station on Everest. Raised in a remote Eskimo village in Alaska where he commercial fished from age 12, Collins brings 30+ years of adventure media expertise to his current role as CEO of Planet 5 Media.
